The world of Ilion
Stories of mages, gods, and the price of power, all set in the world of Ilion.
Drees nearly drowned from his own magic. He survived, but the new voice inside tells him he will never be enough. At the University he explores his talent for water and discovers a stronger one for the dark. Every lesson makes him more powerful, and the voice still says it isn't enough.
Among the white marble spires of the University, a shapeshifting assassin hides in plain sight, balancing his magical studies with his lethal task of feeding the dagger.
